ADVOCATE & ADVISOR
An outspoken advocate to the underrepresented, Rob has had the opportunity to serve in many advocacy and advisory capacities both before and throughout his academic career. These include, the Task Force for Persons with Disabilities, Joint Leadership Collaborative, Academic Integrity Panel, New Registered Student Organization Board, Law Ambassador, Graduate Faculty Search Committee, and others.
In addition, he has completed graduate-level coursework in Advanced Writing for Digital Platforms, Public Speaking, and successfully completed all 1L curriculum at Syracuse University College of Law.
This sample is a fictitious legal case, whereas an individual is petitioning the Indiana Appeals Court with concurrent arguments.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
Public relations is about having relationships with stakeholders. It is imperative to protect your brand, which is who you are, what you do, and how well you do it.
Rob entered mass media as the Production Manager for a regional newspaper, later functioning as the Public Affairs Liason for the New Jersey Salvation Army's Emergency Disaster Services. He attended Syracuse University College of Law for a year, where he gained a greater understanding of various aspects of the U.S. legal system, including First Amendment principles, in particular, the area of Media Law.
He enrolled into the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and secured a Master of Public Relations with a focus on crisis communication. Currently, he is a Public Affairs Supervisor and the External Relations Lead for the American Red Cross' Central and Northern New York Chapter.
This work is a strategy conceived for the purposes of expanding awareness through a public relations campaign with an associated event.

This work addresses the public relations challenges by the National Football League pertaining to players kneeling during the National Anthem.
ADVENTURER
"Never forget to live."
It is the mantra Rob lives by each day as he is a believer in responsibly playing as hard as you work. With that mindset, there is little that he has not set his sights on and few barriers he has worked to cross.
You can find him cycling along the beach and kayaking down a river in the summer or snow hiking and traveling to explore different cultures in the winter. He has scuba dived. He has a mountain climbed. He has skydived. He has continuously entered areas most people would flee for the purpose of assisting communities following disasters. Rob continues to set challenges daily, both mentally and physically, to grow to become the best version of himself.
